Therapy is an Investment

Therapy is a great investment that provides returns for both the client and those around them. When we invest in our own wellbeing, we are better parents, friends, bosses, workers, neighbors, pet owners... the list goes on and on. The following list of frequently asked billing questions will hopefully answer any questions you have about this investment. If you still have unanswered questions, please reach out via our contact page or by clicking here

Do you take insurance?

The short answer is no, for reasons you can read about here, but your session may still be covered by your insurance company. Instead of taking insurance through in network contracts, we provide superbills. A superbill is like a receipt that you submit to your insurance company to be reimbursed directly for the cost of sessions. Not all plans have out of network benefits so it is important to contact your insurance company directly to find out what your plan allows. In many cases, insurance companies will reimburse the full cost of sessions minus any applicable copays. To learn more about why I do not accept insurance, please click here

What types of payment do you accept and when is payment due?

We currently accept credit/debit cards and HSA cards. Clients enter card information into a secure and confidential healthcare platform. Payment is due the day the session is scheduled. Convenient, automatic billing takes place the morning of the session.

Where can I learn more about your billing policies?

Prior to beginning services, each client will be provided with a billing agreement to review and sign. In the case of minors, the parent or other responsible party will be provided with the billing agreement to review and sign.
